A PERFECT HOLIDAY IN SINGAPORE :D


yess. after spending new year in Singapore, i went again a few days back. this time, the trip was planned very well and we stayed for four days and had probably one of the most fun experience in a long time.
so, this is like a simplified version of what we(me, mom and sis) did :)

1st day;  We arrived around noon and checked into a hotel. walked around arab street, got lunch and then went to buy myself a new bag cause the sling bag i brought broke, literally, broke while we were walking to the place i was suppose to get my ss3 tickets at. (i shall continue this ss3 thing in a minute :D) so, after that, it rained. and rained and rained. later that night we went to this new fancy shopping mall that just opened. its called ION2 i think. and boy, it was fancy.

2nd day; i woke up in a good mood, had a fast breakfast and went straight to the underwater world at sentosa island. there was like a dolphin show and they really blew me away. and of course we rushed back by noon cause OMGSS3WASSGONNASTARTAT4 (will continue this in a minute as well :D)

3rd day; woke up excited due to last night's awesome-est experience and cranky due to lack of sleep. haha. breakfast and then of course, i went to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS! it was a lot of fun. i took a lot of photos with the characters who were definitely very very cute. despite the consistent bad weather (it rained the entire day), i had the best time there.

4th day; i wanted to just sleep in but of course my mom wanted to go out early to buy some fabrics for raya. let me just say, this year's raya is gonna be a good one. i hope so. :) we arrived amazingly early for our flight at the airport and had korean food for lunch.

MEETING SUPER JUNIOR LIVE 

*APPLAUSE*

well, i wasn't exactly confident that i could go to the concert because i am always the kind of person who expects the worse. i mean, what if the person i bought tickets from was a con? i would just be devastated so, throughout the week before i went to singapore i didn;t let myself get too excited. but you see, i was really lucky. the person turned out to be an angel. so yeahhh. shoutout to nancy; thanks again! :D

#1 MISSION: GET THE TICKETS 

right before my flight, i called her and we reconfirmed our time and venue to meet. after landing i was a little too excited and actually arrived to the meeting place about an hour prior to our meeting time. and this was when the strap at my bag broke. tragic really. so, while waiting for her, my mom had to get me a new bag. not so tragic.haha ;D finally around 4.30 pm, she called and told me that she has arrived and we met. it was a really cold and wet meeting as it rained. heavily. and i don't know why the pedestrian walk to bugis mrt didn;t have shelter. i was so glad to meet her. i paid the balance and she gave me two pen B moshpit tickets and one kyuhyun lightstick.

#2 MISSION: FIND TRANSPORT TO THE VENUE

so, nancy actually told me when we met that i could take the MRT to the stadium. HOWEVER, my mom of course was very doubtful about me and my sister's safety so she asked us to take a cab instead.

#3 MISSION: GET THERE EARLY TO LINE UP

you know how i mentioned we went to the underwater world on this day? yeah, we rushed back at noon cause we planned to go earlier so that we could get a good spot. the concert was supposed to start at 4 pm so, we made our way around 1.45 pm. we reached the stadium around 2 pm in the rain (yes, it was still raining) and were really confused at first cause we didn't know where to go. asked a few people and the next thing we knew, we were lining up for our pit. under the shelter. ahah. the expensive ticket was worth it. :D

#4 MISSION: GET SIGNS AND A GOOD SPOT AT THE PIT

okay, i know it was a little dumb of me to not bring a placard but i read the rules and they said that if you're standing in the moshpit, you should not bring cause it will block the views of the people behind you. nevertheless, i got lucky and managed to snag two signs made by the SGE.L.Fs :)
because i lined up quite early, i was like in the second line from the front. so yes, mission successful.

#5 MISSION: SCREAMMMMMM

this of course i succeeded very well too. around 4 pm, the stadium really started to fill up and about ten minutes later, the lights were off and it was dark except of course the sapphire blue lightsticks which was crazy. almost everyone had one. i was really amazed. it was jawdropping.

and of course the video came out on the screen and everyone went crazy. craaaazzzyyy. i screamed so hard and they we'rent even actually out yet. untill... SORRY SORRY started playing and donghae magically(ok, so not magically.he was using cable cords of course) appeared on stage and this black round thing on the stage were raised to the ceiling of the stadium and one by one, they appeared.

HWAAAAAAAAAAAAA O.O   <<<< this is me.

i can't actually remember how i reacted at first cause i was screaming so loud and was just so overwhelmed. they were all in white and the first performance was so amazing. everyone was so energetic and the fans were singing along and the fanchants was quite successful, i must say. from the start until almost half of the song, they were in the middle of the stage together but after that, they started moving around. so, this was the moment i saw the members really up close for the first time.

ryewook came to my side of the stage first and he stayed. and next to him was KYUUUUUUU. *DIES* i screamed soo hard, i thought my voice was gonna break. my thoughts at this moment;

OMFGASDFGHJKL:"XCVBNM<> ryewook and kyu is infront if me. my life is complete. KYAAAAAAA

i just screamed a long with the other 20,000 fans and my god, they are fine. i mean. they all look so much better in person than in videos or photos. seriously. seriously. especially my kyuu. he's so handsome. i've never been so smitten over a guy in awhile/
after the sorry sorry was over, it was eunhyuk that came to my side. and he looked so good with his new spiky hair. and then siwon came. and of course, i died for the umpteenth time.

me: SIWON OPPAAAAAAAAA~~

yeahhh. and then they sang SUPER GIRL which was another crazy moment of course. henry and zhoumi joined and it was really amazing. probably one of my favorite performances that night. let me just repeat, SUPER JUNIOR IS AMAZING LIVE. and they dance so good. for 10 to 12 people to be on stage at one time, they were perfectly synced and didn't bump one another. they all knew where they were supposed to be all the time.

after that was DON'T DON. which was also awesome cause it was like remixed and about three quarter through the performance, a band consisting of heechul on the drums, henry on the guitar and zhou mi singing appeared and finished it with a bang.

then came one of everyone's favourite song; NO OTHER. i just fell in love all over again. and during this song, kyu came to my side. AGAIN. and followed by ryewook and then yesung. and towards the end of this song donghae came and we were all going crazy as usual and then, he sat down, OMGASDFGHJKL:"XCVBNM. like really sat down with his legs hanging and he winked and pointed to the fans and i felt so loved. XD

after no other was CONFESSIONS. which was a slow song and it showed their vocal talents. i can assure you that all the members CAN SING! especially kyu, ryewook and yesung. they sound so good live.

the next song was GOOD PERSON followed by ROKKUGO. Eunhyuk and Leetuk went a little crazy here. they were just goofing around having fun. :DD

after this were the solo performances. i was blown away by the boys and the fans. the boys of course because they had amazing vocals. especially ryewook, kyuhyun and yesung.
during rye wook's solo, there was an entire section at the stadium that had yellow lightsticks on. which was so amazing.

and then during kyu's solo, the entire front section of the stadium had green lighstcks on and it spelled out something and also shaped as a heart. SUJU fans are sugoiiiiiiiiii O.O


well, i must say that i fellin love with ye sung during his solo. when he sang IT HAS TO BE YOU, i melted into a puddle of goo. his voice is like an angel. really. and i fell madly in love. ovver and over and over again. i have to admit that he's probably my bias now. XD


and then, HEE CHUL came out as LADY GAGA. or should i say, LADY HEE HEE and performed pokerface. the crowd went crazy of course. and i swear he has really nice, girlish legs. i'm actually jealous. then a few minutes later, shindong came out as beyonce with eunhyuk and donghae and they performed SINGLE LADIES. it was craaaazyyyyyyy. in a good way of course. totally. :D

and of course during BONOMANA, all hell broke loose. they were all so hot in black outfits. especially lee teuk. and he came over to my side a few times. si won was just wearing a vest as a top and nothing else. so hell yeah, eye candy baby. *shameless*

SHAKE IT UP and U was pretty awesome too. i was amazed at myself that i memorized the songs. i'm actually more of a fan than i take credit for. heh.

they ended the concert with WONDERBOYS but then came out for an encore! they were in vegetable costumes. i swear, ryewook was the cutest tomato ever. in a really not-creepy way XD

i know that this post might be more interesting if i had a lot of pictures but i didn't really take a lot cause i wanted to really focus on the performances. i do have some good ones though and i'll be glad to upload them soon. when my internet isn't so cranky. pfft.


you can find the entire set list here cause i didn't exactly list out every song. and yess, i am more in love with SUPER JUNIOR more than i have ever been in my life. so yeah. that pretty much sums it up. btw, did i mention that kyu wore a striped cardigan for one of the songs. and yes, he looked too good to be true.

#6 MISSION: CONCLUSION

i think i was lucky to be at my pit which happened to be the side that kyuhyun was mostly at. and ryewook of course which caused me to fall for him even more. and did i mention that eunhyuk and donghae literally sat infront of me. and they were like just a few feets away from my grasp. siwon's abs were *ehem ehem* better than how it looks in pictures. yesung had a voice of an angel. sungmin had a really racy solo(whut?!). i finally understand why people go crazy for heechul. leeteuk leader looks really good in the bonomana outfit especially. shindong was just really high. zhoumi is cute but he's so skinny. especially when he's next to othe buff suju members. henry is a cutie and i really liked his baby performance. he had to embrace his canadian side right? :)
