Hari Belia 2011

Hari Belia Malaysia 2011; Himpunan Sejuta Belia

Last Saturday, I went to Hari Belia Malaysia in Putrajaya with Mak Lang, Pak Lang, Syaza and Alia. I'm not sure if you guys knew that on that day, there was a concert to be held at night and Super Junior M was going to perform. You see, I love Malaysia, no doubt. But I have little faith in this kind of events organized by the government agencies to be successful. So, I went with one goal in mind which was to watch Super Junior M perform. When we finally arrived to Dataran Putrajaya, I was awe-struck with the people, the activities, the layout, and pretty much everything else in between.

There were so very much to see, to learn, to understand. My mom did mention that three battalion of army were going to be there but I didn't actually believe her until I saw the men in uniforms spread all over the area. Each Core of  the army had a booth of their own. There were tanks, guns, M16s, bazookas, firetrucks, helicopters etc. It was really fun and interesting that we, the public got to see and learn how the army works and what they do to protect this country. I felt really patriotic as I was reading on various operations that they have done both in and out of the country and the sacrifices that they had to make.

after walking around for about an hour, we decided to head for the stage to see where the concert was gonna be at. As we were approaching it, we saw some motorcades and it turned out, we were just in time for Dato' Najib's speech as he just arrived with the other ministers. We sang Negaraku together and I thought the moment was quite magical when everyone was just singing their heart out for the love of this country.
I have some photos (just a few) that were taken throughout the day. The rest will be on my facebook.

But really, you had to be there to feel it. :)

ps. SJM's photos is gonna be on the next post :D

What's Next?

1. KMB in less than a month.

2. Shopping list for stuff I'm going to bring to KMB.

3. Spending more time with my family (especially my mom) and friends before going to KMB.

4. Knowing that IB is probably going to be the hardest thing to do.

5. Trusting myself that I will do well.

6. Downloading stuff (movies, tv shows, etc.) to bring to KMB to prevent self from going crazy.

7. Start waking up earlier cause there will be no "NANA, wakey wakey" from ibu in KMB.

8. Brush up on my reading and start stimulating my rusty brain.

9. Updating my shopping list for stuff to bring to KMB because there's always something I'd forget.

10. Not breaking down while I'm leaving for KMB, on the way to KMB and  staying in KMB.

Okay. breathe. you can do this nana. Eyes on the prize. Eyes on the prize.
