KMB in a nutshell.

I can't believe that its already almost my fifth week in Banting. I mean, time is zooming by me. and I think I'm okay with it.

Orientation week was torturing interesting. Between waking up at 4.15 am(I kid you not), baggy purple and orange t-shirts, falling asleep during some of the lectures and getting scolded by the MPPs, I actually had a lot of fun :)
I think the orientation week was a great way for us to bond. I truly feel like some of the friendships I've made this week will last me a lifetime.

Homesick? yes. it wasn't too bad during the orientation week as we were so so busy but after orientation week was over, I was a wreck. okay, so maybe not exactly a wreck. but something like that definitely. when classes started, we were all kinda separated from our group members during orientation and didn't really  know our classmates. It was like day one all over again. for me at least.

Just like any other year one, I practically pounced on every club opening I saw. The next thing I knew, I had 4 events clashing at the same time and choices had to be made. As of now, I am a Music Club member who will be playing for my super senior's graduation, a GEM apprentice (soon to be member I hope) and having my Sehati Serumpun interview soon. I realized that one cannot do everything even if one wishes to do so. wise words eh? :)

anyways. last week was a whirlwind for me. I don't know how I ended in a debate team. The next thing I knew, I was the opposition trying to convince the speaker of the house that laptops should not be encouraged in college. (I knoww. Whut?) I who may appear absolutely talkative (in a really good way) have actually zero experience in debate. Format, grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure went out the window. I thoroughly apologize to the seniors who acted as the Madam speaker and time keeper. It was an absolute #FAIL on my side.
I think I finally sort of get the gist of debating British parliamentary style. So maybe I won't get to be on KMB's Debate team, I still had a lot of fun. Being on the same team with Sofea (yes, the childhood friend) and Taufik (not a stranger no more) was a great experience. I believe, we did try our best. :D

Till then :)
