NEW YEAR.NEW DECADE. <3

so, i was conveniently in Singapore for the new year and it was really a huge experience for me as it was my first timein the country. being a malaysian who happens to really love her country very much, i have always wondered what the fuss was about. don't get me wrong, i really just didn't have a clue on how a country so small could be so influential to the world.

staying there for 3 days was sort of an eye-opening experience i suppose. i have come to realize that Singapore is a country that knows no limits irregardless of their size and that is something i'm definitely very impressed with. they're always trying to do everything and be everything. there was a time where i thought that i didn't think they should have because of their concentrated population but now i understand that because of the fact that there's so many people in Singapore, they have to always move forward and be better.

walking around Orchard Road, i saw a lot of people. of different races and religions. its almost the same scene here in Bukit Bintang, Malaysia except for the fact that i think people in Singapore are always moving faster. Abang Arif asked me if i would consider studying here in singapore. and i really gave it a serious thought and i resulted in saying that i would. consider. you see, the thing in Singapore is that its so modern and forward and that is not always a good thing.

i can see myself there as a young student, but not when i'm old. so, yeah, that's a part of my opinion. and only after 3 days and not much exploring, i'm already quite impressed. i'm probably gonna be heading there again later this month as i'm just so curious to see the universal studios in sentosa island that i missed during this new year trip.

anyways, i did take a long walk on new years eve from my very nice hotel to the marina bay sands to watch the fireworks. and it was incredible although i wasn't actually suprised. i mean, it was expected for it to be incredible right? kudos to Singapore's police who really managed to control the crowd. i couldn't imagine if it was malaysia, no offence. the vibrant and colourful fireworks were just amazing and i didn;t even have the best view. seriously.

so yeahhh, that's my singapore experience. and i think, the best is yet to come. :)

ps. no haters please. i's really just MY opinion and should you have a different one, stick to it. i just know so much.
